IIM Bodh Gaya Empowers IGIMS Doctors with Six-Day Leadership & General Management Programme Batch-8 Dec 1 to Dec 6, 2025 Bodh Gaya, Bihar, December 2025 – The Indian Institute of Management Bodh Gaya (IIMBG) successfully conducted the Management Development Programme (MDP) on Leadership and General Management for Batch 8 of Indira Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences (IGIMS), Patna. Held from December 1 to December 6, 2025, this comprehensive 6-day programme brought together 20 doctors and senior healthcare professionals from IGIMS (Patna) for an immersive learning experience combining leadership development, strategic thinking, healthcare operations, digital transformation, finance, communication, and people management. This programme was envisioned under the guidance of the Honourable Director of IIM Bodh Gaya, Prof. Vinita Sahay, who strongly advocates the need for blending clinical expertise with managerial capabilities in healthcare institutions. The programme was coordinated by Dr. Pinaz Tiwari and Dr. Vishal Ashok Wankhede. The MDP stands as an embodiment of IIM Bodh Gaya’s commitment to strengthening public healthcare delivery through capacity building, evidence-based decision-making, and holistic leadership development. After lunch, Dr. Suresh K.G. conducted a detailed session on Impact Evaluation of Health Programs, familiarising participants with evaluation frameworks, outcome metrics, and evidencebased assessment in public health.  The final session of the day, led by Dr. Ajith Tom James, focused on Six Sigma and Lean in Healthcare Operations, introducing data-driven quality improvement methods, process streamlining, and operational efficiency techniques.
